Knowledge Communities promotes knowledge sharing and innovation in the social sector by helping organizations build their capacity to launch and sustain learning communities.
Underlying our practice is the idea that knowledge and insight are created and acquired when humans interact with each other and their environment. Members of learning communities learn through a diverse range of social interactions, such as one-on-one conversations, storytelling and group discussion, as well as research projects and expert presentations.
Much of our work is dedicated to the development and implementation of communities of practice (CoP). CoPs offer a way for people with a shared practice to work together to improve that practice and the field at large.
With over 25 years of experience in education and facilitation, Knowledge Communities staff offers time-tested assistance to help your organization reach new levels of learning and collaboration.
Knowledge Communities is a long-term partner invested in your success.
