Continued from Measuring New Opportunities Against Your Vision
I’m never very good at wrapping up a series like this. Once I get started on a topic, I can keep going and going, and I’m never quite sure when or how to stop! But here’s the deal: We’ve now covered all three steps involved in manifesting a job you actually want!
Looking back, does it seem like it was actually quite a bit more than three steps? If so, I’m not surprised. The three steps I outlined represent an enormous amount of intentionality, discipline and communication.
In fact, part of what I’ve tried to do with this series is demonstrate that while manifesting a job you actually want is very simple, the possibilities are limitless. Whether or not you succeed in manifesting a job you actually want is a function of your willingness to generate and explore new possibilities through conversation.
The word manifestation comes from the Latin verb “manifestare: to make public”. In my view, this is what manifestation truly is… the bringing about of new possibilities, as a result of focusing and unleashing your energy into the world through purposeful conversation.
You simply can’t get a job you actually want without doing this kind of work. You certainly can’t get a job you actually want by thinking about how much you dislike your current your job, or by wishing someone would recognize you for the genius you are and promote you to CEO.
I hope this series has been valuable for you, and I wish you the greatest success in manifesting a job you actually want!
